Born in Casablanca, Morocco — now the architect of Jordan's most ambitious chapter. Jamal Sellami took charge in 2024 and transformed a talented but inconsistent squad into World Cup qualifiers.
A former Moroccan international with 28 caps, he played in the 1998 World Cup. His coaching philosophy blends North African tactical discipline with the flair of the players at his disposal.
Under his watch, Jordan qualified for their first-ever World Cup — the crowning achievement of a coaching career built on resilience and an unwavering belief in the underdog.
